One of my favorite things about being a teacher on Verbling is talking to students from all around the world. I've been learning so much about different countries and cultures.

What I find especially interesting is learning about different calendars, and how people around the world celebrate their new years in different ways and at different times. 

Today is the start of spring, and of the Persian New Year—a celebration of nature. 

This article is inspired by the what I've learned from Verbling students about calendars.
