What are some tools that you are using at the moment or have used in the past?

Back when I was learning English I went through different stages but I remember that after a long time in school learning more "traditionally" I began using English for communicating with other people. I used to have speaking classes, talk to native speakers, watch films with subtitles, write things for others to read...

Now that I'm learning German I have read and watched things, but I'm using Duolingo too, which I think is actually quite good for vocabulary building.

So what are you doing?
