Lesson 01: What kind of movie is TRIANGLE?

PLOT:

Triangle is a 2009 British-Australian psychological horror thriller film. When the heroine Jess sets sail on a ship with a group of friends, they are struck by a storm and forced to board a passing ocean liner. They find nobody on it but actually they are not alone. Someone is trying to kill them one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the disaster.


EXPRESSIONS:

1. Just for the record - used to add a fact that is not necessary for the conversation, but needed to be said.

example: It doesn't matter now, but just for the record - you were wrong.

2. Let off steam - to do or say something that helps you to get rid of strong feelings or energy.

example: He lifts weights after work to let off steam.

3. Freak sb. out - cause sb. to be in an extreme emotional state, such as that of fear, anger, or excitement.

example: Snakes really freak me out.
