The importance of reading and listening - for fun!
3 years agoSo, when I meet a new student, I give them an overview of how I teach English. And the message is simple: Students need to find things they enjoy reading and listening to. They need to do this a lot more. They then need to come to class and practice speaking about these topics with their teacher. This is a hugely successful methodology - I have used it to improve my Spanish. And now I have found this video from a polyglot - please watch it - especially from minute 6.00.
