Hi, my name is Joe Kempf. I’m from America. I’ve been teaching English for about seven years. I absolutely love what I do. What I love about teaching English is that it opens a whole new world of opportunities for the people that I teach. Right now I’m working at a university in Eastern Europe. I teach English to prospective students which come from all over the world to study here. The program takes students from the beginner level all the way to advanced in just three short semesters. It’s such a joy to see these students to continue on to become successful professionals. I also teach English to children and adults. Over the years I’ve taught a wide range of abilities, varying from beginner to advanced. I think it is most important for students to speak in order to truly learn a language. I put lots of time and thought into my lessons so that they are engaging and fun. I try to create a relaxed atmosphere that is student orientated and make students feel comfortable to share thei...

Hi! My name is Katrina, I’m a native English speaker from California. I have spent 20 years working for Corporate America in sales and presentations. I have conducted and participated in many training sessions and informational meetings both in person and via video conferencing. I am now living part time in Italy teaching English. I specialize in teaching business English but also enjoy teaching children. I have twenty years experience teaching to people of all languages. I am also learning Italian while I live and immerse myself in their culture so I understand the difficulties in learning a new language. I will create a personalized teaching plan for your personal language learning needs. My teaching is level based and focused on speaking, listening, reading and writing.

I am a Maryland native who comes from and lives in a community where English is often not the first spoken language! For me, it's most important that you feel comfortable in my classroom. I want it to be safe and fun for you to learn! I have a music background, so music is more than welcome with me. I'm not afraid to be a little goofy, either-- whatever works best for you! I currently teach students from all over the world, so no matter the age, I've got you covered. I teach 6 year olds all the way to 18 year olds in the classroom, and have taught anywhere from 18 to 70 online. I can set you up with flashcards and we can work through worksheets or workbooks, or we can do full-on immersion style classes where we discuss different every-day topics while I correct your mistakes. Again, whatever works best for you! In the past, I have worked in and out of music classrooms, and have extended experience with students who suffer from severe disabilities. I taught in India for one year, a...
