Hi,
My name is Eleonora and I'm a teacher of Italian L2.
I have always been interested in foreign languages, that's why I decided to study foreign languages and literature at the university. After the end of my academic career, I had a first teaching experience in a college in the USA. After that, I worked in some schools in Italy, France and Switzerland.
My teaching approach basically focuses on the development of oral skills. Also, the focus is to let you communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations you would be likely to find yourself in. I usually tailor every lesson according to your level, needs and interests! Activities can include: reading and comment articles aloud, conversation practice, question/answer exercises, grammar exercises and vocabulary activities and games.
This approach will enable a good interaction, and let you learn the language in a more natural way. So, if you want to learn Italian I would be happy to be your teacher and start...

Ciao! Mi chiamo Simona, ho 33 anni e mi piace insegnare!
Born and raised in the South of Italy (Bari), I have studied Human Rights, but I have always been passionate about languages and I have been teaching Italian online and in class for the past 8 years.
✓ I am a qualified DITALS teacher 🇮🇹
✓ Conversation and grammar
✓ Learn by speaking, by improvising, by trying and making mistakes
✓ Printables and tailored material
✓ Homework, if you like :)
Speaking is the most efficient way to learn a language, it is the skill most people wish to be really good at. Yet, it’s also the skill they practice the least. It is essential to apply everything you learn in books, or in language apps.
✓ We will do interactive activities / real life dialogues / targeted conversations.
Che aspetti? Se hai domande, dubbi o curiosità. scrivimi in chat! I'm happy to reply to your questions!
Ciao,
Simona!

Hello everybody! My name is Veronica, I am 26 years old and I hope I will be your future Italian tutor! :)
I have studied foreign languages (English, French, and German) for five years and am currently studying (graphic design) and working in Germany. I worked for three years in an Italian school, giving lessons to kids from 11 to 13 years old.
I've been working on Verbling for many years now and I very much enjoy it.
I cannot wait to help you with your Italian (either Grammar or conversation). Who knows, maybe after this course you will decide to visit my country for a while! :))
Hope to see you soon!
Vero

I was preparing a lesson for a student of mine, when I found myself struggling with a translation. The word was “cavare”. «Pull out» I thought. But then… was there a better word? “Cavare”, in Italian, doesn’t only mean “to pull out”, that would be “estrarre”, “tirar fuori”, “rimuovere” or something else. “Cavare” has the word “cavità” (cavity) in it. “Cavare” means “to extract from a cavity”, “to remove and leave a cavity” and I couldn’t find a single word in English that suited the perfect meaning.
This happens to me all the time, as I speak three languages daily and I am a “word perfectionist”: I am fascinated by the meaning that every word can have, those little shades of significance that can only be understood by those who profoundly study a language.
And that is what I do: I study, all the time, to speak each of my three languages at its best, and I teach, to make my students learn properly the meaning of words and their best combination.
My name is Cindy and I am a langua...

Ciao a tutti!
I am Francesca and I come from Italy and I am here to help you learn Italian. I was born and raised in Genova, a coastal city in the north-western part of Italy, then I lived in Milano for 10 years and I am currently living in Spain.
I have been teaching Italian to foreign people for many years, both offline and online.
ABOUT MY CLASSES 🇮🇹
I always try to make lessons as fun and entertaining as possible by including games and fun exercises as well as educational activities of any kind. I believe that when you have fun and when you look forward to your next lesson, that's when you are learning the most.
During my lessons I'll let my students talk as much as possible, and after that we'll go over each mistake to make sure they understand them properly.
According to the level of the student, the grammar need ...

Hello you students! My name is Nick (he/him), I'm 35 and I am a teacher. I have been teaching since 2013 and never stopped!
My lessons are for intermediate and advanced level but when it comes to Italian Exam I do teach from A1 to C2 (CELI and CILS).
In order to make the lesson as understandable as possible, I can easily conduct the lesson in English.
I also deliver Italian for Specific Purpose in IT/ICT and Music since I have a degree in computer science and an ABRSM diploma.
You'll love my lessons if: your aim is to take your Italian to the next level by reading, discussing and working on real papers and articles, talking about news, press, hobbies and life in general.
You will also love my lessons if you want a "formal lesson" with grammar and exercises, I can be the most boring and "grammar guy" teacher :D
