Hi, everyone! I'm Chie and I'm a native Japanese speaker. Are you interested in Japanese culture, food, TV shows or history?? I've taught Japanese for beginners, intermediate and advance students alike for 5 years, so if you are just starting out don't worry. My lesson is focused on conversation so that students have a chance to interact through verbal communication and participate in the learning of a new language, as well as, have fun in our class. As an adult, I learned English and Spanish, and now I'm also studying Chinese and Russian. For beginners, I find it best to start by learning basic grammar and vocabulary. For intermediate level and above, it depends on your preference, we can focus on conversation or working on JLPT exam, read news articles together, etc. I have over 7 years of experience working for Japanese and American financial firms in Tokyo's financial district. Much of that experience involved verbal and written translation between senior Japanese and American business people. If you are starting a new job with a Japanese firm, or have a temporary posting in Japan, I can help you prepare with the language and skills necessary to succeed!
