Italy is a magnificent country, and there's so much more to it than the large cities of Florence, Venice and Rome. I spent 30 years of my life living in Florence and the surrounding countryside, and as an Italian native, I love to provide my students and clients with personalized recommendations and unique excursion opportunities. For many people, traveling to Italy is a dream come true.
By studying with me, you can avoid falling victim to some of the famous tourist traps, and you will get to enjoy an authentic Italian experience. I have been working as an Italian teacher since 2014 and I love to help my students plan study abroad experiences in Italy where they can immerse themselves in the culture and language of the country.
I want my students and clients to do more than just make a photo stop at the Colosseum in Rome and pretend to hold up the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I want them to experience the Italian culture, interact with the local people and enjoy pasta & wine the way it...

Ciao, I am Christian and I am a native Italian teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience.
I have the privilege to have lived in Italy, where I was born, in Australia and now in Argentina. In Italy, I became a teacher and started to work in schools, but it was in Australia, and after in Argentina, where I could really gain experience in teaching my native language to people from all around the world. Based on my experience, most students of all ages start to learn when they get involved not only in the grammar, but also in the real cultural context of my country in an entertaining and relaxed environment.
I personally prepare the material for my students and send it to them every week.
All my lessons have a strong focus on communication and listening.

**NEW INTRODUCTION VIDEO IN THE MAKING, SORRY!**
About my classes š
In our lesson, weāll either choose a topic together or dive into a random one, allowing the conversation to flow naturally. To make it more engaging, weāll use pictures, texts, and other materials to spark discussion. Along the way, youāll expand your vocabulary related to the topic, which Iāll note down for you and include in the dayās lesson notes. At the end of the session, weāll reflect on the conversation, highlighting areas for improvement, as well as the progress and strengths youāve demonstrated.
Donāt hesitate to jump into the conversation! Speaking is the key to mastering the language, and Iāll be here to guide you through each step. Mistakes are more than welcomeātheyāre the best way to learn and solidify your knowledge!

Hello Students,
My name is Enzo and I am a professional Italian teacher from Catania, Sicily. In the past, from 2014 onward, I taught private Italian classes in foreign countries, where I had moved abroad to participate in volunteer work. In my free time I volunteer as a full time teacher as part of a worldwide educational program. I also work as an instructor of group classes on public speaking and presentations, which has given me great experience in this field.
I am happy to help students of all ages! I enjoy teaching vocabulary, pronunciation and conversational Italian to my students. I believe that learning Italian should be a fun process. You can perfect your pronunciation and fluency without pressure in my classes. I'm also fluent in German, Spanish, and English, so if you are a new, beginner-level student there should be no problem communicating.
If none of my available times work for you, feel free to send me a message, and we can find a time that is good for your schedu...

I was preparing a lesson for a student of mine, when I found myself struggling with a translation. The word was ācavareā. Ā«Pull outĀ» I thought. But then⦠was there a better word? āCavareā, in Italian, doesnāt only mean āto pull outā, that would be āestrarreā, ātirar fuoriā, ārimuovereā or something else. āCavareā has the word ācavitĆ ā (cavity) in it. āCavareā means āto extract from a cavityā, āto remove and leave a cavityā and I couldnāt find a single word in English that suited the perfect meaning.
This happens to me all the time, as I speak three languages daily and I am a āword perfectionistā: I am fascinated by the meaning that every word can have, those little shades of significance that can only be understood by those who profoundly study a language.
And that is what I do: I study, all the time, to speak each of my three languages at its best, and I teach, to make my students learn properly the meaning of words and their best combination.
My name is Cindy and I am a langua...
