My name is Rania, I'm Egyptian, I live In Italy since 2017. I teach Arabic for non-Arabic speakers since 2008, I teach MSA (Modern Standard Arabic) and Egyptian Arabic. I tought in Egypt in the University of Cairo and the French cultural institute. In 2017 I moved to Italy, I got my PhD at University La Sapienza. Now I work at the Catholic University of the Sacred Hearted, and Turin University. Hi! My name is Zoia. I am from Syria and I am studying International Relations at the University of British Columbia. One of the reasons why I am pursuing this major is that I am fascinated by different cultures and their interactions. There is a strong and complex connection between the language and the culture it is used in which led me to develop a passion for languages since I was young, hence I learned English, Spanish and Russian. While I was learning these languages, I came across many difficulties one might face learning a new language, and therefore, I have developed many strategies to overcome those difficulties. My native language is Arabic, and I have taught it to international students when I was studying in Armenia! I teach mainly Levantine dialect. I understand that people decide to learn new languages for different reasons, therefore, I make sure to acknowledge the goals my students strive for and I customize my lessons in order to achieve those goals.

I am Nesreen Meligy, I am thirty years old. Graduated from the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Cairo University. I have passed many training courses in different fields, I got a general and special diploma in preparing Arabic teacher for non-native speakers, and now in master's degree. I have been teaching Arabic to non-native speakers since 2013. Arabic is not difficult. Whatever your mother tongue is, there will be similarities to Arabic because language is the tool that humankind utilizes to communicate with one another. We all came from the same origin. We all use the same tool to communicate (i.e., language). Accordingly, although we use different languages, our languages – as well as we – came from the same origin. Therefore, our tongues are similar in at least one feature, even if we are not able to notice that.
