Hi! My name is Rignald and I am an online Dutch teacher. I am a Dutch native speaker currently living in Florence, Italy. I have a Master of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Learning foreign languages has always been my biggest passion. I have been teaching online for the past seven years for several language schools using different teaching platforms. I have had students from all over the world with different starting levels and objectives. My teaching approach, which is fully tailored based on the student's level and needs, is comparable to that of a child learning how to speak, meaning that the student learns grammatical rules by reading simple texts. I have worked for several Dutch language training schools like Elycio Talen, Taleninstituut and Easy Dutch with students from all over the world. My methods: I always try to first focus on the pronunciation and work our way up from there, because I think that you can't build a good house without a steady foundation.. Although I was educated as an engineer, after the birth of the children and being always on the move, I had to reinvent myself. I started to give language courses.
