IELTS and English Fluency Testing: This scoring process measures individual fluency levels using a score between zero and nine. Areas tested in IELTS Centers include Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Competency in these areas are critical in many cases for United States Immigration, University entrance, and Job Interviews in English. Hi, Thanks for looking at my bio. I have been teaching ESL for over 20 years (two years as a volunteer in Chicago) and 18 years in Mexico City. My specialities are listening and speaking. If you feel frustrated trying to understand spoken English, I can help you just as I've helped so many others through the years. If you have difficulty with pronunciation or speaking fluently, I know exactly how to help you. My classes don't involve much writing. We spend our time speaking and listening. If you're like me and believe that practice is more important than memorization, take a look at my video or schedule a free sample class. I'd love to hear form you.

I'm a certified English tutor (TESOL) and a University Teaching Assistant/ PhD Candidate. I have an Engineering and Business background(Petroleum Engineering) with Master's and Bachelor's Degree. I also prepare people for IELTS, TOEFL, CAE and other English Test examinations as well as BUSINESS ENGLISH. To say that I love Teaching will be an understatement. My whole life currently is centered around teaching as I spend the most part of my day teaching university students. My future goal is to work as a University Professor. Teaching a language, unlike teaching technical subjects requires patience, varying techniques and methods that are student-centered and that is one of the reasons I love doing this. It encapsulates the efficient use of the five main senses of human beings and how proper channeling of it can produce a 'wow' effect.
I usually take my students through the 4 main skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening). Students will practice pronunciations, intonations , a...

Hi, my name is Andy, and I have been teaching languages since 2001. I have worked in different countries with students from different nationalities, that´s why I love learning languages to be able to help and understand better my students. I have taught students of all ages and levels. I have to confess that I enjoy teaching beginners and see their progress until they are able to communicate in the new language. I also learn languages, so I know that what a language student wants is to be able to speak and understand the new language, that´s why my classes are based on speaking, that means, from the very first class you will be speaking and I will be giving you the instructions in the language you are learning, that´s the best part of the class, and I really enjoy making my best so that you can understand and speak in the new language. I also understand that there are some students that prefer to receive some explanation in their own languages, so that´s why I speak English, Portugu...

I’m Ruby, a Cambridge CELTA qualified English tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, a bachelor in philology. I've also done some mentoring for new teachers, and I completed Cambridge English examiner course for FCE and YLE.
I specialize in teaching General English, having conducted over 3000 lessons online. I also taught in different language schools in Yerevan, Armenia.
I believe that student-centered approach is very effective for studying a language. I aim to make my lessons productive, engaging, and fun. In my lessons, I make sure that errors are corrected and the newly learned vocabulary and grammar are used.
In my free time I like watching comedies, (I particularly appreciate British humor), learning about philosophy and psychology, spirituality, trolling people (but never or rarely my students), painting, singing, playing the guitar and trying to make sense of this bittersweet life.

I’m Kevin Palmer.
in 2002, at my first teaching job, I had a student named Ning. Ning was wonderful. She was intelligent, friendly, and she worked hard. Every day she studied English textbooks for 4 hours! She tried to remember 50 new vocabulary words every day!
But, after 6 months of hard work, she still could not speak. Sadly, this was true for all of the students in the class. I felt terrible. So I asked other teachers for help. But they had the same problem.. very few of their students improved either. That’s when I realized something was wrong– something is wrong with normal English teaching methods.
I wanted to help all of the happy, friendly, intelligent, wonderful students like Ning– and I decided I would find an answer. I would find a way to help my students speak English powerfully. For many years, I studied books about English teaching. I constantly tried new methods in my classes. I read research studies.
Eventually, I found incredible new methods. I was so excited! ...
