I enjoy making videos about my travels on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/bekitravels 📯I also love making videos teaching people how to play brass instruments! 📯 https://www.youtube.com/c/TheBrassTeacher If you're confused about what a trial lesson is, these points will help you: ►THE TRIAL LESSON IS: - A 30 minute introduction class. - An opportunity for you to see how lessons with me work. - Time for you to ask me any questions. - A way for us to create a unique learning plan for you - A way to test your internet connection and check its strong enough for video & audio calls - A way to get to know each other better, learn about our hobbies etc ►A TRIAL LESSON IS NOT: - A free way for you to get your CV or written work corrected. - A lesson which is concentrated on your areas for improvement - A cheap way to get a 30-minute conversation class with the active intention of not continuing. If you have a trial lesson and you decide that I’m not the teacher for you, then of course that’s fine! 😊 Teacher Beki : ) ⏰Lesson Policy:⏰ Please read before booking lessons. * Lessons cannot be rescheduled 12 hours before starting unless there is an emergency. * This is because my schedule is filled usually a week in advance and sometimes even further in advance. If slots are unscheduled last minute this results in a loss of lesson time and lesson fees. *Other students are also unable to take these lesson times as they have previously been booked advance and therefore unavailable. *If you need to reschedule please do so with as much notice as possible so then we are respecting each other's schedule equally :)

I have a Masters degree in teaching ESL (as well as a Masters in city planning from Harvard) and also work as a speaking rater for TOEFL iBT. I have taught university-level ESL for a number of years, with almost a thousand students of all nationalities, from beginners to advanced. I would describe myself as relaxed, encouraging, and sympathetic. I home-schooled my own three children from kindergarten through high school and I believe a stress-free, happy, and enjoyable learning environment keeps students motivated and enthusiastic. I specialize in teaching speaking and writing for English language tests. I focus on the specific skills you need to get good scores and I give you plenty of practice during each class session. My availability is limited because of my TOEFL scoring job and other tutoring jobs. If you would like to schedule a lesson when I am not available, message me ... I may be able to work you in! Because my teaching hours are limited, PLEASE schedule your lessons ON THE HOUR (meaning, for example, at 9:00, not 9:30). Otherwise I will ask you to reschedule a half-hour earlier or later. Most lessons will be 60 minutes long, but I might shorten the lesson to 55 minutes for brief breaks between students. For lots of articles about grammar, vocabulary, and other topics, read my blog at http://eslbootcampglobal.com/blog/ *** I started teaching ESL to foster understanding and better relationships among people around the world. Therefore, I strongly object to the policies of our current U.S. President. ***
Hello!! My name is Ray. I am a Canadian with a love for teaching. Outside of my education and work experience, I enjoy sports, martial arts, travelling and meeting unique individuals with interesting stories to tell. I enjoy teaching people of all ages and assisting individuals achieve their goals. Once I understand the goals and expectations of the learner, I create interesting and entertaining lessons to achieve positive results. I use a broad range of instructional strategies to motivate and engage my learners (primarily film and text). I do my very best to prepare fun, interesting and diverse lessons based on specific topics tailored to your interests and goals. We will spend a lot of time in conversation about texts we read, as well as short films and pictures we analyze together. I have spent many years working with students to improve their grammar and fluency in both spoken and written English. I feel comfortable teaching in both an academic and informal context. I know I can serve you well, so please give me a try. I can't wait to get started!! At present, I am not taking any students under the age of 18. The focus of my lessons are more for adult learners.
Hello everyone. My name is Russell. I have taught English for many years. I have taught all levels, from beginner to advanced, or from levels A1 to C2. Mainly, I have taught in Cape Town, but I have taught students from all over the world. I like to find out what interests my students, as most of us enjoy talking about what interests us. Because of this, a have a good general knowledge of business, and I would be happy to include the world of business in our lessons. I look forward to working with you as you learn English.
