Hello, my name is Abir, and I’m from Cape Town, South Africa.
If you're looking to learn English in an engaging and relaxed environment, I would be delighted to assist you.
I hold a BTech degree in Jewellery Design and Manufacture, which I completed after four years of study. In addition to my degree, I also earned a certificate in tutoring. Throughout my academic journey, I had the opportunity to tutor fellow students and have since worked with young children in private settings to help them improve their English and other subjects.
Since obtaining my teaching certificate in 2017, I have had the privilege of living and teaching abroad, primarily in Vietnam, where I currently reside. I have taught children aged 4 to 16 in classroom settings, as well as helped adults enhance their speaking and conversational skills.
I am currently employed at a well-regarded international language school and am looking to expand my schedule by taking on a few more students each week.
My teaching philosophy centers around stimulating conversations, fostering an environment of learning and idea exchange, and helping students improve their communication skills. I am particularly focused on assisting students with pronunciation and sentence structure, aiming to elevate their conversational English to a higher level.
As a patient and adaptable teacher, session is cutomized to suit the individual needs, strengths, and areas of improvement of my students.
