I'm Tara, currently pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Cape Town, where I also teach media and film theory to undergraduate students.
My wanderlust has taken me to 20 countries, each adventure deepening my appreciation for cultures and the art of conversation. Engaging with people from various backgrounds is a joy of mine, fuelled by a natural affinity for interpersonal connections.
Coming from South Africa, my accent carries a neutral tone, based on British English. The journey of language learning is one I believe should be fun and tailored to individual needs. With this philosophy, I design lesson plans that are not only educational but also engaging, offering any and everything from conversational practice, academic English, grammar, and job interview preparation.
My resources are vast, encompassing a wide array of English materials ready to facilitate our exploration of the language together.
Give yourself the gift of mastering English! With a TESOL certification, and over six years of experience in both academic teaching and English language instruction, I am a committed educator.
Get to know each other, I will ask numerous questions to best asses your level of English, potential areas that are stronger or weaker, as well as understanding your English learning needs and wants.
