Would you like to learn to SPEAK FLUENTLY? ****Do you need help to understand DAY TO DAY English or Communicate at work better? I'm Sharon and I specialise in VOCABULARY expansion ACCENT reduction and FLUENCY development. I have a very clear British accent. I am PATIENT, ENTHUSIASTIC AND CARING. My strength as a teacher is my commitment to YOU as my student. I enable GREATER CONFIDENCE in speaking as well as practising functional English in everyday situations. I LOVE success and WORK HARD to make sure you achieve your aims! I have a B.A. HONOURS degree in Political Sciences, a TEFL certificate to teach English to foreign students and I have recently completed a course for teaching English online. I teach adults and young adults but am NOT qualified to teach children under 16 years of age!
More importantly I have had MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in all aspects of teaching English; to individuals, small groups and in large classes of 28 students. My courses have ranged from English for commerce, conversation, fluency practise, preparation for exams such as the International and European baccalaureate, IELTS, PET exams and the English Council Cambridge exams, and I have helped students with special needs.
My methodology is TAILORED to each individual student. We work together to clarify your objectives and create a learning approach to suit your needs. I come prepared to each lesson and supply audio recordings, writing and reading exercises for you to complete in the interval between our lessons.
I am also fluent in Italian and so can help Italian speaking students as I understand the specific differences between the languages.
