About Me
**Structured French Courses — A Clear Path from Point A to Point B**
Bonjour et bienvenue. My name is Charles, and over the years I’ve learned that students progress best when they always know where they are going next.
That idea now shapes everything I teach. Alongside my lessons, I design complete French programmes for adult learners, building structured learning paths from one level to the next. So when you study with me, you are not simply booking a series of unrelated conversation classes. From day one, you receive a clear itinerary: a sequence of carefully designed documents that guide you step by step through vocabulary, grammar, cultural topics and real communication.
The atmosphere is relaxed, but the progression is deliberate. Each lesson has a purpose, and each one prepares the ground for what comes next.
Conversation remains at the centre of the course. I want you to speak, react, explain, disagree, tell stories and sometimes search for your words — because that is where a language becomes real. The structure is there to make those conversations increasingly rich, precise and natural.
I’ve been teaching French online since 2019, including three years at the Alliance Française. I’m also an official examiner for French proficiency tests and have helped learners prepare for DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF and DLPT/OPI, as well as language requirements connected with immigration and residency procedures in France, Canada and Québec.
I also prepare students for the French civic exam introduced in 2026 for certain residence permits, and I regularly work on interview preparation, professional French and exam strategy.
Whether your goal is to become genuinely comfortable speaking French, reach the next CEFR level, prepare for an official exam or build the language skills you need for life in a French-speaking environment, the principle remains the same: we know where we are starting, where we are going, and how we are going to get there.
