I’m Anissa, a native French teacher with over 10 years of experience helping teenagers and adults speak French with confidence, authenticity, and ease.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a certified diploma in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE). Over the years, I’ve taught students from all over the world, including professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and motivated learners at all levels.
I believe that tools and apps can support learning, but real progress comes from human interaction, personalized feedback, and real conversation. My lessons are designed to help you actually use French in real-life situations.

I also support students following international programs such as AP French, IB Diploma (ab initio & B), and A-Level. I help them strengthen their language skills, prepare for oral and written assessments, and gain confidence for exams.
In 2017, I created French Start to offer a fresh and modern approach to language learning, combining real-life communication, cultural insight, and human connection. This philosophy is at the heart of all my lessons.

During this 30-minute trial, we’ll get to know each other and talk about your goals and expectations. Through natural conversation and a few short exercises, I’ll assess your level (listening, reading, grammar, and speaking). Within 48 hours after the lesson, you’ll receive a personalized learning plan tailored to your needs and objectives.
