About Me


Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich bin die Verena, ich bin eine 33 Jahre alte Mutter und komme aus Deutschland, lebe aber im Moment in Mexiko. I have been teaching German and English for 10 years now to all ages and all levels and I am very passionate about it.I currently finished my BA in Language Teaching and want to get my Masters in Applied Linguistics in the future. I believe that motivation and exposure are the two most important aspects of language learning, so my teaching style is very fun and relaxing but at the same time goal oriented. Through experience, I strongly believe that the only way to learn anything is by enjoying the process. I have to admit that I love grammar instructions, but I also find it essential to talk as much as possible so one can make as many errors as possible (those are the ones you learn from). I am very open, patient, organized and creative. I have always preferred private classes, since I can meet a student on a personal level and so adapt to this student's personal needs, interests, preferences, and goals. Speaking another language is like opening a door to another world, and it is such a rewarding experience. The process can be frustrating, but if you let me, I can help you along the way and make this a positive and enjoyable experience for you!
