About Me
Hi, I’m Hye-jin Lee.
I’m hoping to help people who want to meet a global community of those with shared interests such as K-pop clubs and K-drama fan clubs. Also, to play the role of the bridge connecting people between different countries and all over the world. I want to connect the right people to the right opportunities, help people who seek jobs in Korean organizations, businesses or in public environments such as educational institutions in Korea. I also want to help people outside Korea better understand Korea and its language
<helping business professionals and students who seek a job>
I was born and raised in Korea, and later moved to the states to live 21 years ago.
In Korea, I worked for a multinational business firm and a financial institution for more than 8 years and had the very special opportunity of working with investors and management teams. My work involved all the administration work of the executive office where I was the interpreter/office manager/executive secretary for the day to day business practices and all the important aspects of the events/meetings, etc.
The quarterly and yearly investors' meetings required processing all the aspects of the business meetings on a higher level. It gave me the unique opportunity to learn and practice the most important business ethics. All these experiences now allow me to help Korean language learners who want to improve and hone their language skills to a professional level.
<Understanding the subtle nuanced cultural references>
Since I moved to the states to live 21 year ago, I’ve learned so much and now, I can say, I understand both worlds quite well. There are different norms and standards in relation to business and cultural aspects that are important in Korea. I can be of help to those who seek a professional level of language attainment alongside the cultural understanding of the country.
<enjoying the K-culture such as K-pop and K-dramas>
Also I am a huge fan of K-pop and K-dramas. Or, we can sing songs together!
My personality is very casual and easy going. Being sensitive to potential students’ learning styles and personality, I can adapt to the learners' needs and desires for the best learning environment. I can be fun and at the same time highly effective in deliverance, resulting in the best outcome.
