Hi, my name is Clóvis and this is your first Portuguese class. I have been a Portuguese language teacher for international students for more than 12 years at a very well-known school in Porto, Portugal. I love teaching Portuguese because as well teaching my language, I am able to discover and experience the different languages and cultures of my students from across the world. My name`s Marina and I am a native portuguese speaker. I am a portuguese language teacher from Portugal. I hold a Master`s Degree in Portuguese as Foreign Language and I have been teaching around the world for the past 13 years, namely in India, China, Trinidad and Tobago and France. At the moment, I am in Portugal teaching Portuguese as Foreign Language at the Faculty of Arts, University of Coimbra and at University of Aveiro. I have been teaching also for 2 years online. I love to travel, read, music and cultures, my research its been focus on interculturality.

Learning and teaching languages has always been an important part of my life. I am self-taught in all the languages I speak or understand as English, German, Hunsrik which is a German dialect spoken in Brazil and also a Brazilian language of signs. Among my hobbies are playing football, watching movies and listening to music.

Six years ago i began to teach portuguese language to foreign students and professionals living in Portugal. Since then i have been improving lessons according to european levels A1 to C2 and portuguese school curriculum, preparing students for exams, helping persons to be integrated in portuguese society and teaching tourists, immigrants and descendants of portuguese emmigrants all around the world. I use dialogical methods in language teaching and structured courses for begginers or advanced learners, adapted to all kinds of persons, children, adults and special needs students.
