Ciao!
My name is Ilaria. I'm from Milan and an experienced, certified Italian teacher for foreigners.
I've been teaching Italian for the past 8 years, working at various language schools and cultural associations in Milan and abroad.
I've been working with students of all levels, ages and backgrounds, including immigrants, high school students, kids, adults, seniors, and college students.
I have already been teaching online for 4 years.
I’m a language learner. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish.
I lived in Ireland, Portugal, and the Netherlands.
I love intercultural relations, and during my classes I really enjoy covering topics such as culture, geography, art, music, gastronomy, and much more!
My classes are conversation-driven. I speak Italian from the first lesson, and you will realise that this is possible, even for a beginner!
Along with speaking, I always include reading, listening, vocabulary, writing, and a focus on grammar rules.
During my classes, I like to use a variety of materials, such as songs, images, games, role-plays, poems, and videos.
I like to tailor lessons to my students' needs and interests.
I’m also an experienced travel agent and the author of articles on tourism and culture.
I can also help professionals who need Business Italian or tourism industry Italian classes.
