TOEFL - 英语家教和老师
🕒 30 and 60-minute lessons 🕒 Send me a message to ask any questions :) 🌏 I love exploring new ideas on life, love, business, Global Issues, Technology, Art, to name a few. and I use them to teach English around the world on some online platforms. I am a certified English teacher and I have teaching experience of over 5 years now. My approach is instead learning about Jack and Jill who went up the hill why don't we talk about the crazy, beautiful, and cruel world we live in. We will still be using English to discuss but in this way, we will learn something new. I'll learn from you and you'll learn from me. - Business English - Working with a global team - Business Negotiation - Interview - Global Issues - Technology - Life - Design and Art My focus in class will always be on communication because I believe communication is the best way to learn a language. here's how I do it. 1) I will send lesson material before our lesson (video, audio, phone script, interview questions, post, etc) 2) you have to watch that video multiple times if it's necessary to create a base for our lesson. 3) We will have a conversation about that specific topic in the lesson. see you later. Have a great day Thanks

Hello everyone. My name is Russell. I have taught English for many years. I have taught all levels, from beginner to advanced, or from levels A1 to C2. Mainly, I have taught in Cape Town, but I have taught students from all over the world. I like to find out what interests my students, as most of us enjoy talking about what interests us. Naturally, if your lessons are interesting to you, they will also be enjoyable. I have been in business for several years, and much of this time has been spent in managerial positions. Because of this, a have a good general knowledge of business, and I would be happy to include the world of business in our lessons. I look forward to working with you as you learn English. [ use coupon 'arthur10' to get 10% off any number of classes for a limited time] Hi, my name's Art, I started teaching ESL 35 years ago in Salamanca Spain, then continued part-time while also teaching Spanish as a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University where I received an M.A. in Hispanic Literature in 1988. I left another career about 9 years ago when my Venezuelan wife and I moved back to her home country, and there I also happily returned to my first career of teaching ESL. I began teaching there at the university level at the Universidad Arturo Michelena, but then realized I felt called to tutoring one student at a time. In March of 2019, at the urging of the US embassy in Venezuela, and suddenly with no internet, my wife and I had to return to the US. The good news for students is that we have 300-330 Mega speed internet with cable so the audio and video are of excellent quality! ---Many of my students were/are preparing for TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, NATO, or Trinity exams etc. so I have experience helping there. I am currently on module 4 out of 5 with the ICAL TEFL institute based in London for certification in TEFL, but honestly have not been in a hurry since much of TEFL certification deals with classroom, small group, and pairs work, things that are not very relevant to one on one tutoring. If you want to know my qualifications, I suggest reading the comments of my students. They are the best judges of tutor quality. If you need help with exam preparation, CV editing, job interviews, pronunciation, presentations, conversation, grammar, etc. I'd be glad to help. Best of luck to you in your English studies, and remember never get discouraged! The key is hard work, lots of patience and determination. Cheers!
