Should foreign films be dubbed?
5 years agoThis is quite a controversial topic. When you watch a foreign film, would you rather see it in its original language with subtitles, or dubbed into your own language?
Both have their advantages and disadvantages: Some people think watching a film in its original language is good for language learning. But, from my own experience, I have been to the cinema many times in Mexico to see an English language film dubbed into Spanish, and I found this equally useful for improving my Spanish. This is because I really had to test my listening skills as I couldn't rely on lip reading.
