I am a native English speaker from the UK, degree qualified, with over 5 years experience teaching English classes. I am qualified to teach English as a foreign language, and I also have two years field experience in South America, teaching English privately, and in schools and institutes. I am looking to help students who want to learn English. I am currently learning, and improving my Spanish, so for people with this language as their native language, I will be able to provide a bit of extra support. I can provide help with vocabulary, natural and correct expression, common phrases and idioms, in a mostly conversational setting discussing a range of different topics depending on your areas of interest. I’m Kevin Palmer. in 2002, at my first teaching job, I had a student named Ning. Ning was wonderful. She was intelligent, friendly, and she worked hard. Every day she studied English textbooks for 4 hours! She tried to remember 50 new vocabulary words every day! But, after 6 months of hard work, she still could not speak. Sadly, this was true for all of the students in the class. I felt terrible. So I asked other teachers for help. But they had the same problem.. very few of their students improved either.
