First I will tell you a bit about my academic background and tutoring experience. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I have also worked as a tutor for a number of years. I have loved tutoring in all subjects up to the college level. My favorite subject to teach has always been English. Here's the problem most English learners face: You know the grammar. You can write emails. But when a native speaker talks at normal speed, you miss things. And when YOU talk, people don't quite get what you mean. That's what I fix.
We'll work on real situations — your job, your projects, conversations you actually need to have. I speak naturally (not slowly or simplified) because that's what you need to understand. When you're confused by something I say, we pause and I'll show you exactly what I mean by using other ways to explain it so you do understand.
