My students range from 4 to 65 years old and focus on the linguistic skills of your choice, from IELTS preparation and business English to phonics and pre-reading skills. I believe that learning is an intricate part of our daily lives and we as humans learn best when we are having fun. I include elements of music, movement and dramatisation into my lessons whenever possible. I structure my lessons according to your personal needs and interests. Hello! I'm Laura, and before moving to Guam, I lived in beautiful Alaska for six years and northeastern Thailand for three years. Before living in Thailand, I lived and taught in Maryland. I have been teaching for 15 years both online and in person. I am passionate about creating custom lessons in order to help students achieve their goals. I specialize in academic writing, conversational English, and test preparation for adults and teens. I also love to travel and learn new things about the world we live in. In addition, I also have extensive experience in human resources, writing, reading, editing, and communications.
