Hello Verbling!
"Speak a new language so that the world will be a new world." - Rumi
I'm a passionate and dedicated lover of English, people and our planet. I believe that learning should be student-centric so I will make any lesson that you book with me focus on your specific needs and interests.
My methodology is based on the Principled Communicative Approach, and I believe that connection is one of the key components to developing one's language skills.
I cover exam preparation, relocation language and Business English, however, I also teach conversational classes, academic writing and address literature and thematic writing.
I previously worked as a high school teacher, in a multilingual context, teaching English as Home Language, and then as a Second Language to teenage students. I understand how development affects learning retention and how to best adapt to a variety of ages. I was a school teacher for eight years, and some of my former students are now published aut...

Now about my teaching style. :)

I have 30+ years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. I have taught all levels; from basic to advanced grammar and conversation, as well as business English and pronunciation. I especially enjoy helping you with the more difficult aspects of English grammar so that you can improve your ability to speak and write more precisely. I have a particular passion for teaching pronunciation.
I always design my lessons specifically for you, based on your skill level and your goals. I believe that language learning is a lifelong process of discovery. As you learn the language, you learn the culture, and vice versa. My role as your teacher is to provide the rules and patterns of English, give you many opportunities to practice what you are learning, provide correction and suggestions for improvement, and continuous feedback on your progress.
I have taught overseas in the Peace Corps in South Korea and in the United States at language schools, the World Bank, the Inte...

Hi Everyone!
My name is Stacey. I was born in Taiwan and grew up in Los Angeles. I consider my native language to be English and thanks to my mother and three years of living and teaching in Taiwan, I am also fluent in Chinese Mandarin. I love both languages and their culture and can’t wait to share them with all of you.
First, it’s important to understand what you want to achieve. You are a complete beginner? You want to improve your grammar?h Hope to reduce your accent? or you want to polish your skills for traveling, school or work. Whatever your goal may be, I am able to help you.
I think learning a language should be fun and personalized. I like to develop fun and creative lessons base on your needs and that will keep you interested and excited to learn more.
I have recently started learning Italian so I know how intimidating and frustrating it can be. Even if It may seem like you’re understanding what you’re reading but when it comes to speaking it’s too hard ...

Hi! My name's Kevin, an American expat living in Belgrade, and who's been teaching English since 2011.
The final level of learning a language - any language - is sounding like a real person, not AI. What I do is take the English you know and shape it with everyday words and expressions that native (American) English speakers actually use.
For example, you could say, "I understand" and everyone will understand. But if you said instead "I get it" or "I gotcha," you'll impress the native speaker to no end (trust me on this).
I have a range of topics to talk about, one per class, which will exercise your English every which way. Or we can talk about what YOU want to talk about. I'm not to dominate the dialogue. I'm just here to get your mouth and your brain moving!
What I do is ask questions. Then, I listen to your answers. Then, if I think you said something that I think could be changed a little bit in order to sound more natural, I'll both say it and I'll write it in the chat box...

Greetings, I am teacher Dale and I’m from the United States.
I'm hear to help you with all your English needs.
I was inspired to make teaching my career many years ago. While living in Korea I realized how much of an impact I was having on my students’ lives and futures, and loved seeing my students succeed. This love is what still drives me today, nothing brings me more joy than seeing a student achieve that needed IELTS score, landing their desired job, or simply having a memorable conversation in English. With the proper guidance you can achieve anything.
Teaching English is my life for many years and I have a masters degree in TESOL. I’ve taught in Korea, both public and private schools and for the office of education. In Singapore teaching at an international college. Currently I’m the head master at a large international English school in the Philippines. I also have years of experience teaching students on line, both children and adults.
