What would you like to feel comfortable doing in Spanish—making friends, travelling through Mexico, connecting with your partner’s family, or expressing your ideas at work? Whatever brings you here, your lessons should help you take part in the conversations that matter to you.
Hi, I’m Emmanuel, a native Spanish tutor from Mexico City. Together, we’ll build on what you already know and work towards your goals, with clear explanations, useful practice, and room to make mistakes.
You’ll practise situations you can recognise: sharing a story, asking follow-up questions, explaining what you need, or keeping a conversation going when you can’t find the perfect word. We’ll work on pronunciation, listening, vocabulary, and grammar according to what helps you move forward. If you’re interested in Mexico, we can also explore everyday expressions and the culture behind them.
My work on international cruise ships has involved connecting with guests, leading teams, and presenting events in a multicultural environment. That experience helps me understand how language, tone, and cultural awareness work together—and bring those insights into your lessons.
I’m also a CELTA-qualified English teacher and a language learner myself. I understand how frustrating it can be to know more than you can comfortably say. You can expect patient guidance, thoughtful corrections, and explanations in English whenever helpful.
