About Me
Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile. Below you’ll find some information about me and what to expect in a lesson, but first you should know that right now I only work with upper intermediate and advanced level students, especially those who want to work on professional, academic, or business writing and communication.
Over the years, I’ve worked extensively as a teacher-editor, and it is in this area that I can best serve my students. My goal is not only to help students with their current writing projects from emails to dissertations but also to guide students towards becoming better English writers on their own.
In a typical lesson, we will read your writing together, and I’ll correct any mistakes as well as offer suggestions and explanations in places where the writing could be made better.
One of the most important things I do is give feedback. My goals when doing this are to be kind and encouraging, but also honest and helpful. I understand what it’s like to be nervous about making mistakes, and I always have that in mind as I’m offering constructive criticism.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with questions before you buy lessons, and I look forward to meeting you soon!
p.s. I understand that my lessons are priced higher than some lessons here. This is why I try to be clear about my particular area of expertise. Also, if you have a lesson with me and are for some reason unsatisfied with the level of help I gave, please let me know so that I can offer you a full refund.
