About Me
My schedule doesn't show my true availability as I'm also teaching as a senior IELTS instructor at a language center, so please get in touch for details. My rates are significantly less than those charged for private lessons with myself at my language center.
I am a native English speaker from New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
My teaching career now spans over 12 years and my absolute specialty is IELTS test preparation.
I have been referred to by others as an IELTS expert and I know how to share this knowledge in the best ways possible to ensure my students’ success.
I’ve helped countless candidates achieve their target band. If you choose to learn with me, I can do the same for you.
I have a 4-year Bachelor of Management Studies degree from New Zealand, a UK TEFL, an IDP IELTS certificate, and I’m currently a senior IELTS instructor at Thailand’s most prestigious IELTS language center (which is also an official British Council test partner plus visa and university application agent).
The manner in which I instruct my students is to use concise and clear lessons focusing on the fundamentals of how to best take an IELTS academic test.
In other words, I don’t teach unnecessary material, that means everything you’re spending time on learning is relevant to your IELTS requirements.
I mostly use test format material in my lessons as it’s the quickest way for you to familiarize yourself with the real thing.
A long the way I'll assess your level and provide feedback on where and how you need to improve.
I provide you with recommended approaches and advice for every part of the test, so I’ll share vital knowledge with you that I’ve gained from attending seminars, testing candidates, plus most importantly, teaching and answering questions over thousands of hours in a real classroom.
