About Me
If you want a generic tutor who just walks you through textbook exercises to make the clock run out, I am not the right coach for you. I am a professional English language coach for ambitious learners who need real fluency for the real world. My teaching philosophy is simple: Fake communication produces zero growth. If you only speak English when I ask you a direct question, or if you only give "safe," perfect answers just to please me, you will never pass a high-level speaking test or survive in a global career.
My lessons are built around the "farmland immersion" strategy. The best international programs do not send students to big cities where they can easily hide with people who speak their native language. They send them to small towns in the middle of places like Illinois or Wisconsin. Out there on the farms, if you do not speak English, you are completely alone. Your host family speaks to you every single day whether you are in the mood or not. You have to speak English to survive.
My lessons create a smaller version of that exact pressure.
I treat every student as an equal peer, not a robot to be programmed. We do not hide behind scripts. Instead, we jump straight into honest debates about real-world topics, career strategy, money, and society. I give you total freedom to disagree with me, challenge my ideas, criticize my opinions, and say exactly what you think. When you realize you can argue with a native speaker without the conversation stopping, English stops being a boring school subject. It becomes a real tool for human connection. That is how we build mutual respect, and that is where true fluency begins.
🧠 The Social Truth About Fluency
Most language schools only teach grammar and vocabulary. They ignore the biggest barrier to speaking English: the social hierarchy. In the real world, conversations are about power, status, and confidence. People stay silent because they are afraid of looking low-status, being judged, or losing an argument. If you only practice English in a polite, comfortable classroom, you will freeze the moment someone in a business meeting challenges you or pushes your buttons.
In my lessons, we break through that fear by practicing the social side of language. I give you permission to criticize my ideas, defend your status, and handle high-pressure debates. We build the thick skin you need to command respect in any room.
Outside of teaching, I care about being a good husband and a good father.
To maintain lesson quality and stay on schedule, I take short breaks between classes.
